Accessible Garden Planter

The young designers in our DownCity Discovery program for middle schoolers designed and created an outdoor garden planter bed for their community client, Audubon Society of Rhode Island. They invited our students to design and create an ADA accessible pollinator garden bed for their outdoor classroom. In order to make the experience as accessible as possible, our students made sure to include features like a handrail and a raised platform in their final design.
