DownCity Design was Awarded a 21st Century Grant!

DownCity Design is thrilled to announce that we have been awarded a federal 21st Century Community Learning Center grant through the RI Department of Education to deepen our partnership with the Providence Career and Technical Academy. The DownCity Design Studio at PCTA will offer year-round after school and summer programming for up to 190 PCTA students each year. The Design Studio will offer opportunities for students to explore career pathways, improve academic achievement, learn valuable workforce skills, and internalize the design process as an approach to problem-solving in school and in life beyond.
