DownCity Re|Design Timeline
From the start, DownCity Re|Design has been a community project – designed, built and driven by community volunteers.
To date, more than 210 volunteer hours have gone into the design, planning, and renovation of 370 Cranston Street. In Spring 2021, more than 40 design and construction professionals, youth, community members and DownCity Design Board members and staff joined our four ReDesign Teams: Access, Mechanicals, Facades and Workspaces. Over the next year, they’ll develop the detailed design of the Community Design Center and oversee the construction of each major element of the project.
