In Spring 2013, a team of 22 volunteers led by DownCity Design educators built these 24 cedar garden beds in just one day! They transformed an underutilized concrete pad in the Mary Fogarty Elementary School schoolyard into a functioning community garden, including garden beds for classrooms to use for environmental education.
