High School
RI High School students, are you nervous about life after graduation? Do you have questions about preparing for college?
This April Vacation, join us for one or both of our FREE three-day boot camps in preparing for college. Our educators will guide you through different topics and help you tap into the skills you need to apply to schools, figure out financial aid, and successfully navigate starting college.
WHERE: DownCity Design Studio (425 West Fountain Street, Unit 110, Providence, RI)
WHEN: 3 days over April Break: April 19, 20, 21* | 1:00pm - 4:00pm (with potential optional college visits in the mornings)
*Students must attend all three days of the break. Students who attend all three days of the session will receive a completion gift card for their participation.
This program is HIGHLY recommended for Seniors graduating this Spring 2022 and Juniors graduating in Spring 2023. Each day we’ll explore a new topic:
April Break (April 19-21):
Considering design school?: An overview of careers in design with guest visitors
Is college the right option for you?: Networking + college student visitors
Getting a head start: Starting to think about your portfolio, fall applications, and financial aid
College Visits: Field trips to local colleges (optional)
