Being apart of DownCity last year was an amazing experience. I met a lot of people and learned many skills that I now adapted into my everyday life. The project we worked on involved recycling and I learned so much from it. I enjoyed being apart of something that will make a change for not only myself but everyone else around me.

Working on a service project made me feel like my ideas, as well as others were important and mattered especially working on something as important as recycling. I enjoyed putting ideas together to make one idea and it was fun meeting new people and going on trips.
