ADMINISTRATIVE

 

Summer Design Studio Program Coordinator | Summer / Full-Time

DownCity Design is searching for a Summer Program Coordinator to oversee the details and logistics of our Summer Design Studios. The Summer Program Coordinator will be responsible for student and family communication, coordination of supplies and afternoon workshops, managing enrollment and attendance, and other details to ensure that the Summer Design Studio runs smoothly.

YOUTH PROGRAMS


Summer Lead Design Educator | Summer / Full-Time

DownCity Design is searching for experienced Design Educators to co-lead daily design programs for high school students. To learn more about the different studios offered this summer, please visit: www.downcitydesign.org/summer.

Summer Teaching Assistants| Summer / Full-Time

We're always looking for people with a passion for youth and community-based design who also have some of the following skills. Feel free to submit an application even if there are no job postings listed.

  • Teaching, mentoring, or advising youth

  • Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, Illustrator, & InDesign)

  • 3D modeling in Google SketchUp, Rhino, or similar programs

  • Design / Build experience and carpentry skills

  • Construction and project management skills

  • Industrial design, graphic design, user experience design, or architecture background

  • Digital fabrication and rapid prototyping skills (3D printing, laser cutting, etc)
